Where do we go on the sail?
Depending on the wind we may head towards Islesboro Island or down the coast to Rockland. We may cruise along the coast of Camden and Rockport checking out the summer estates along the water. We may see seals basking in the sun, bald eagles, or if we are lucky a whale or porpoise. The perspective you get from Anjacaa is unparalleled. A depth of natural beauty from the sea to the mountains, islands and harbors, it is all quite stunning.
Where to park?
There is parking at the Lyman-Morse parking lot at the end of Sea Street. You will see a sign to continue straight ahead before the road turns left. Otherwise there are two all day parking lots in town which are free. The closest one to where Anjacaa‘s meeting place is past the Camden Public Library along Atlantic Avenue and the other one is located behind the fire department on Washington Street.
What to wear?
The temperature on the water is always a bit cooler then on land, so we recommend a sweater or a light jacket. If you have white soled or non-marking shoes that would be best but not necessary. You may also want a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. We provide blankets on board.
What to bring?
Feel free to bring a lunch or snack and beverages (including beer and wine).
If we cancel the trip for bad weather or unsafe conditions you will have a full refund on your credit card. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than one week before date of sail and there are no refunds if you miss your sail.
What happens if it rains?
We will try to get you on another trip but if it doesn’t work for you we will give you a full refund.
What is the check-in time?
Please check in by phone 30 minutes before your trip begins by calling us at 207-236-4687. If you have not checked in 10 minutes before departure we reserve the right to give your place to someone else.
Is there a bathroom?
Yes there are two marine heads (toilets) on board Anjacaa.
